Don’t Get Overwhelmed with Content Writing for Your Business

September 20, 2012 by Cyndi Papia

So, you have a business, and you are, understandably, feeling overwhelmed and even a little frustrated at all there is to do. Sure, maybe if there were forty hours in a day you could perform all the tasks involved in running a business. Let’s face it, though, time is precious, and you need to prioritize.

For some people, this means that certain corners are cut in the name of productivity. And one area that may suffer is the business website and other publications. Writing useful content for your service – with the motive of assisting clients and customers (and maybe even reeling in a few new ones) – is a timely process. It may be quite tempting to shove written content into the “luxury” file.

Women at ComputerIt is important not to underestimate the importance of quality content writing for your business. It is equally as vital to not get caught up in tasks which could be better delegated to a professional who specializes in exactly that.

There’s a reason that most successful CEOs don’t do administrative duties. There’s also a reason that most successful companies don’t make sacrifices when it comes to having a website with high quality and useful content for consumers.

It is virtually impossible to run a successful business completely by yourself. It isn’t shameful to admit you need assistance. Unique content writing is just one area where assistance is available to you. Don’t forgo this vital aspect of your business for the sake of saving time or money. Delegate, and ease your mind when it comes to your business.

A few copywriting businesses I suggest are:

  • Blogmutt delivers weekly, all-original content for your business blog for $79 a month. The posts are about 300-350 words. Sometimes a bit shorter or longer, but typically in that range, and have a money-back guarantee. If you try the service and it doesn’t work for you, just let them know and they’ll refund your money.
  • I’ve also used Lois Feinstein of Great Site Web Copy for myself and my clients.  She really has a magic touch turning my scribbled, mixed-up thoughts for a blog post and turns them into engaging, well-written posts. Her prices are very reasonable too.

If you have a service or someone you use and thrilled with share with readers here – pay it forward. Happy blogging!
